Mount Stewart House is located on the beautiful shores of Strangford Lough not far from Belfast in County Down. After a 3 year and £8 million restoration, the 19th century House has been significantly transformed making it a must see attraction. The gardens have been recognised as being one of the best in the world. Mount Stewart is a delight for the senses, with a series of themed gardens including The Italian, Spanish, Mairi and Shamrock garden. There is also the beautiful landscaped and informal grounds surrounding the picturesque lake. The House includes portraits, silver collections and other treasures. Visitors can enjoy and explore the House and gardens with a tour guide.
From here we will travel to the small village of Portaferry, where we will cross the Lough to another small village Strangford. This area has historical links to the Vikings and Normans along with an Ulster Scots influence.
Rademon Estate – Shortcross Gin Private Tour: Learn about the unique Gin & Whiskey process, enjoy a tutored neat tasting masterclass. Shortcross is a aromatic and exceptionally smooth Gin, it’s unique flavour profile is created using fresh apples, elderflowers, elderberries and wild clover harvested on the estate. The tour entails a little history about the Estate & the ingredients grown within the grounds. The Estate welcomes guests from all over the world to explore their unique working distillery. After the tour enjoy a guided tasting of the marvellous Shortcross Gin.

Our city has marvellous architecture & attractions, the highly skilled labour from the shipyard was used to maximum effect encouraging architects to be bold with their designs. The City Hall & surrounding area along with the Titanic visitor centre are just an example. There are many attractions along the the political Peace Walls so we will tailor the tour to suit your Irish experience.
