The car is booked for the day, not the journey. That is the part couples tend to discover matters most, because wedding timings move more than any other job we do, and a driver who has to be somewhere else at two o’clock is no use to anyone at half past.
We cover weddings across Belfast, County Antrim and County Down in Mercedes S-Class and V-Class vehicles, with ribbons in your colours and a chauffeur who has done this often enough to know when to stay out of the photographs.
The Cars
Mercedes S-Class. The saloon most couples choose for the bride and father, or the bride and groom leaving for the reception. It seats three comfortably, and the boot takes a dress without anyone having to fold anything.
Mercedes V-Class. Seats up to six and takes a full bridal party with dresses, shoes and everything else that ends up travelling with them. It is also the one to choose if the dress is substantial, because getting in and out of an MPV in a gown is considerably easier than a saloon.
Both are presented for the day rather than turned out between other jobs. Ribbons are fitted in your colours, and if you want flowers on the car we will work with whatever your florist supplies.
What the Day Usually Looks Like
Most bookings follow a similar shape. Collection from the house, the church or venue, then photographs, then on to the reception. Some couples want the car for the full day. Others want two journeys and nothing in between.
Second runs are common. The bridesmaids arriving ahead of the bride, or parents collected separately, or the groom and best man to the church earlier. Tell us who is going where and we will work out whether that needs one vehicle doing two trips or two vehicles.
We also run guest transfers, moving people between the ceremony venue and the reception, or from the reception back to hotels at the end of the night. The V-Class carries six at a time, so for a larger party, that means a shuttle running repeatedly rather than a single lift. We will be honest about whether that works for your numbers or whether you need a coach operator alongside us.
Photographs and Venues
The car ends up in the photographs whether you plan it or not, which is worth considering when you choose the vehicle and the ribbon colour. Photographers often want the car in a particular spot, and our chauffeurs are used to being directed.
We know most of the venues around Belfast and the surrounding counties, including where you can actually stop and where the approach is too narrow for a saloon. If your venue is somewhere we have not been before, we will review access in advance rather than work it out on the day.
Timings
Weddings run late. That is not a criticism of anyone; it is simply what happens, and any wedding supplier who has not built for it is going to cause you problems.
Because the car is yours for the booked period, a ceremony that starts twenty minutes late does not result in a missed reception. We would rather you book an hour more than you need than have the driver watch a clock during your photographs.
Getting Guests There
If people are travelling in for the wedding, we handle Belfast International and Belfast City airport transfers and the Dublin Airport run, which takes around an hour and forty-five minutes each way.
For guests staying on afterwards, we run private tours across Northern Ireland including the Giant’s Causeway, and plenty of couples arrange a day out for family who have travelled a distance.

Booking
Give us the dates, venues, timings as you currently have them, and the number of passengers for each journey. Timings almost always change afterwards, and that is fine; we would rather have a rough plan early than a perfect one late.
